Sharply angled roofs delineate the three serarate wings of this home - a garage and utility block, including an excercise room; a guest wing with loft bedroom and lastly the main portion of the house. Two of the roof masses are separated by a curved glass window fronting an elevated walkway above the entrance door that links the second floor of the two wings. Second floor trusses and ductwork were left exposed in several locations and simply painted black. Stained concrete floors with inlayed stainless steel strips were used in the living, kitchen and family rooms. |
