Location: Ontario,CA

Date:1995

Quality: High

Above: A precast concrete portal forms the entrance to a typical office suite. The animal motif seen on the blue band at the top of the warehouse walls was made using fiberglass molds attached to the concrete formwork.

Above: A life-sized bronze statue of a bull elephant was commissioned by the owner - an African wildlife aficionado. Several other similar statues populate other areas of the business park.

This project comprises fifteen buildings ranging in size from 75,000 SF to 250,000 SF each and was built in phases over a three year period. Each build-ing was subdivided into suites of approximately 10,000 SF in size - each with an office area of about 1,000 SF - the remainder being warehouse.

The tinted glass office areas were constructed from structural steel framing; behind the office areas can be seen the 24' tall warehouse walls constructed by the concrete tilt-up wall process.
The park was distinctively landscaped, with several water features and bronze animal statues dotted around.
